The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the exterior areas of the property, ensuring it is clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing. This role involves trash removal, snow removal, and general upkeep of outdoor and indoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to maintain the property’s curb appeal.

Main job tasks and responsibilities:

  • Maintain excellent curb appeal.
  • Physically walk the property and remove litter, debris, and pet waste from the grounds. Ensure that trash and other debris is promptly removed from all areas of the grounds.
  • Ensure that the pool areas, laundry rooms, dumpster and recreation areas always remain free of litter.
  • If the property has a gym, ensure the gym is clean and litter free.
  • Assist with “make-ready” duties when requested. Perform “trash-out” duties. Remove abandoned furniture, trash and boxes and transfer to dumpster. Keep dumpster doors closed on windy days.
  • Perform work area clean-up and safety-related duties.
  • Must be courteous, professional, and reliable.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Previous related experience preferred.
  • Basic understanding of appliance, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry repair is a plus.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and own transportation.
